Course Structure:

The ACCA course is divided into several levels, each designed to build a strong foundation of accounting knowledge and progressively develop more advanced skills. The three main levels are the Knowledge level, Skills level, and Professional level.

  1. Knowledge Level: The Knowledge level consists of three papers: Accountant in Business (AB), Management Accounting (MA), and Financial Accounting (FA). These papers provide an introduction to the fundamental principles and concepts of accounting, focusing on financial reporting, management accounting techniques, and business operations.

  2. Skills Level: The Skills level comprises six papers: Corporate and Business Law (LW), Performance Management (PM), Taxation (TX), Financial Reporting (FR), Audit and Assurance (AA), and Financial Management (FM). These papers delve deeper into the technical aspects of accounting, covering topics such as corporate law, budgeting, taxation principles, financial reporting standards, auditing procedures, and financial management techniques.

  3. Professional Level: The Professional level is the final stage of the ACCA qualification. It consists of two modules: Essentials and Options. The Essentials module includes three papers: Strategic Business Leader (SBL), Strategic Business Reporting (SBR), and Advanced Financial Management (AFM). The Options module allows students to choose two out of four papers that align with their career goals and interests. The options include Advanced Performance Management (APM), Advanced Taxation (ATX), Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA), and Advanced Financial Management (AFM).
